Katie Peddie is a naturally talented mezzo-soprano based just outside of Bedford. With a big vocal range and a rich, clear voice she can enhance any occasion with her musical talents. Having sung in local churches for many years and in front of thousands at the French Shrine in Lourdes, she is considered to have the voice of an angel. To book her for your special occasion, please complete the form below.
Just a note to say a huge thank you for singing at Dan's funeral service. You have a wonderful voice and helped to make the service truly special."
As singing is a joy, prices charged are very reasonable and will take into account the amount of singing required. Travelling expenses may be charged in addition to suggested fees.
Katie has over 20 years' experience of singing at weddings and is able to offer constructive advice on music and readings for your special occasion. As well as singing your requested solo, she will also provide a lead voice for other hymns and psalms if you have them. Katie has sung around the world, for civil ceremonies as well as church weddings and has a repertoire to match different requirements, from registry office to cathedral that will lift the spirits of your guests and enhance your special day.
At what may be a very difficult time for you and your family, Katie can offer a voice that will provide a beautiful tribute to your loved one. Sometimes it is hard for those present to sing the words to hymns that can be very moving and bring to mind memories of the person who has died. Inviting a singer to the funeral ensures that at least one person will be singing and does encourage others to join in. Katie has worked with local funeral directors in Bedford and can be booked through them or via the form below.
Katie is available to sing for concerts and supports a number of charity events locally. For a number of years she has sung alongside the Luton Male Voice Choir at their concerts to add a female touch and to enhance their programme.
Just to say a special thank you. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. How wonderful a day can be when touched by the warmth of remembrance."
